This book can bring the dead back to life as it did for me. It resonated with my spirit and made me realized that the fighting Soldier is not in the tools and weapons that we use to fight with, but the Soldier is inside of us and we are only wounded because we were brave enough to fight in the battle. I decided to take a few minutes out of my work schedule this morning to read the first few chapters of your book Lefthanded Soldiers... and ended up reading it cover-to-cover.

The message that you convey in this work is invaluable to me. You see, I’m in the process of overcoming my own wounds. About 18 months ago, the career I had worked on for thirty years came to an abrupt end, mostly because of ugly corporate politics. I have endeavored to put it all behind me and concentrate my efforts on a second career as an entrepreneur, but am constantly battling the specter of the ugly past that thrust me into this situation.

Your words have given me new hope that I can achieve what I know is possible. I have gotten a few new wounds in this arena, but even if I lose my right arm, I now know that I will be triumphant.

I'll close with a quote from one of my favorites – the "cowboy philosopher", Will Rogers:

"Don't let yesterday use up too much of today."
